MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

Below is a description of the criteria and privileges of Regular and Associate Members.

Regular Members

– competing riders 21 years old and above who participate in a total of at least 4 EAP organized/sanctioned shows annually, or in competitions outside the Philippines sanctioned or recognized by the NF of the organizing committee and/or the FEI.

(NOTE: Riders who fall under this category that compete in less than 4 FEI or EAP sanctioned shows per year will have to pay a penalty for the first year of non- compliance, and the full membership fee for second year of non-compliance in order to remain as a Regular Member of the EAP. Exceptions may be made in case of injury, pregnancy of the rider, sickness with a doctor’s certificate, etc.)

– owners of registered competing horses that are ridden by associate members below 21 years old (only 1 owner per horse is allowed)

– national technical officials, equine veterinarians, instructors, etc. that are recognized by the FEI

– can vote

– regular members of good standing are eligible to become members of the Board of Directors and to be an Officer of the EAP

Eventually:

– new applicants for regular membership must have the endorsement of 3 current regular members of good standing, and approved by a majority of the members of the board

– to be given rider identification and result cards

 

 

 

Associate Members

– competing riders below 21 years old who participate in a total of at least 4 EAP organized/sanctioned shows annually, or in competitions outside the Philippines sanctioned or recognized by the NF of the organizing committee and/or the FEI.

(NOTE: Riders who fall under this category that compete in less than 4 FEI or EAP sanctioned shows per year must pay the full registration fee for the next year if they wish to remain registered with the EAP. Exceptions may be made in case of injury pregnancy of the rider, sickness with a doctor’s certificate, etc.)

– competing riders 21 years old and above who participate in less than 4 EAP organized/sanctioned shows annually, or in competitions outside the Philippines sanctioned or recognized by the NF of the organizing committee and/or the FEI.

– equine veterinarians, instructors, etc. that are not (yet) recognized by the FEI

– equine professionals like master farriers, head grooms, etc.

– recreational riders and horse aficionados

– must have the endorsement of 3 regular or associate members of good standing

– cannot vote

– ineligible to become a member of the Board of Directors or to be an Officer of the EAP

– valid for regular membership after being an associate members of good standing for 2 years, with an endorsement from 3 regular members

Eventually: to be given rider identification and result cards

 

 

 

 

Below is the criteria for Horse Renewal Registration: 

Renewal:

Active (horse has record of participating in EAP/FEI activities within the calendar year)

Non-Active (horse has no record of participating in EAP/FEI activities within the calendar year)

– owners will be given a registration booklet with horse identification, health information and competition results sheets

– failure to renew horse registration for one year will require payment of full registration fees upon re-registration

NOTE:
- horses requiring FEI passports for the purpose of travel must be registered under the EAP before FEI passports can be issued
